GRAMMY Museum November 2020 Digital Schedule: Jimi Hendrix, Dave Mason, Loudon Wainwright & More

The GRAMMY Museum has announced the next round of new and never-before-released digital content for November 2020, including new COLLECTION:live programs, a Spotlight Saturdays takeover with Capitol Music Group, a Latin GRAMMYs digital exhibit and more

The GRAMMY Museum has announced its programming schedule for November 2020, which includes new and never-before-released digital content and a fresh round of interviews and performances to be added to the recently launched COLLECTION:live, the Museum’s official online streaming service featuring an artfully curated collection of newly produced artist interviews, performances and livestreams, as well as special releases from the GRAMMY Museum archive.

Next month, COLLECTION:live will host interviews and/or performances from AminéAll Time Low, American Aquarium, S.G. GoodmanLoudon Wainwright and many others.

On Wednesday, November 18, the GRAMMY Museum will host a livestream event for the exclusive film premiere of Music, Money, Madness … Jimi Hendrix In Maui, a new documentary chronicling the Jimi Hendrix Experience‘s legendary trip to and performances in Hawaii in 1970. The event will also feature a panel discussion with Billy Cox, Janie Hendrix, Eddie Kramer and the film’s director, John McDermott.

In November, the GRAMMY Museum will also release archival programs in celebration of the Country Music Awards with some of the organization’s past country programs as well as the Latin GRAMMY Awards, the latter of which will include a digital exhibit and past Latin artist programs.

The Spotlight Saturdays Series continues with a takeover by the esteemed Capitol Music Group, with an exciting slate of artists to be announced soon.

The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles remains closed until further notice in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Museum’s Public Programs digital series features new intimate sit-down interviews with artists and musicians recorded via digital conferencing.

The Museum continues to release digital educational content and lesson plans as part of the GRAMMY In The Schools Knowledge Bank, continuing its mission of paying tribute to our musical heritage and bringing our community together through music. 

COLLECTION:live, the GRAMMY Museum’s new official online streaming service, is available for $2.99/month or $29.99/year. GRAMMY Museum members receive 50 percent off the annual subscription price. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s music education initiatives and help keep the Museum’s mission alive while the physical location remains closed due to COVID-19. The Museum’s popular Public Programs series has been recorded over the last decade from the Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles and has since surpassed the 1,000 program mark since the Museum opened 12 years ago. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s music education initiatives.
