Mind’s Eye Programs

To continue celebrating the ideas, people, and art at the core of our mission, the Guggenheim is offering virtual Mind’s Eye programming for participants who are blind or have low vision. This month’s program, Women: Artists, Curators, and Collectors, explores the multifaceted role women play in the art world through a selection of collection artworks. This session will feature works by Louise Bourgeois, Jenny Holzer, Tayeba Begum Lipi, Doris Salcedo, and Cindy Sherman.

This experience will be offered remotely through verbal description and conversation. The program will be accessible on Zoom, a free video conferencing software, or by dail-in phone number, depending on your preference.

Monthly Mind’s Eye tours and workshops for visitors who are blind or have low vision are conducted by arts and education professionals through verbal description, conversation, sensory experiences, and creative practice. Mind’s Eye tours are free with an RSVP required one week before the program date.

Staff assistance is available at the museum.
